Helping Clients Cope and Heal from Sex Addiction-Intimacy Anorexia

SASA invites therapists, therapy students, coaches and those working in the area of problematic sexual behaviour to attend our November training. This four-hour, online event will be focused on working with the sexually addicted-intimacy anorexic and the sexually betrayed-intimacy deprived partner.
The training will be lead by Dr Janice Caudill, executive director of Intensive Recovery Healing in Houston, Texas and Co-author of Disclosure: Seeking Truth After Sexual Betrayal.

 
 

Sex Addiction-Intimacy Anorexia Training

Intimacy anorexia is often the neglected component of sex and porn addiction recovery and an invisible, yet critical component of partner betrayal trauma. In attending this training, therapists and coaches will learn how to help their clients and potentially become a pioneer in this developing field.

Specifically, attendees will learn how to:

  • Identify the SA-IA pattern and corresponding intimacy deprivation

  • Help clients disable the pattern

  • Address attachment wounds

  • Create individual and relational healing

About Janice

Dr. Janice Caudill is a psychologist, one of the founding members of the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS), and a participant in the development of the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model for partner betrayal. She is a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist-Supervisor, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Supervisor, Certified Partner Trauma Therapist–Supervisor, and certified Partner Betrayal Trauma Therapist. She is also a certified Intimacy Anorexia Therapist and has worked with those who struggle with the combination of problematic sexual behaviour-intimacy anorexia for over a decade.

Janice is the founder of Intensive Recovery Healing and Intensive Recovery Coaching, both of which specialize in customized intensives and other services for partner betrayal trauma, sex addiction recovery, and intimacy anorexia.
