About Donna

Donna Meredith Dixon is passionate about creating safe places within the Christian community for healing from the impact of sexual brokenness. Donna lives out that passion, in part, by collaborating with others to train partners of sex addicts and recovering sex addict to effectively facilitate groups.

During her 17 years in the medical field, Donna created curriculum and training experiences that met or exceeded US-federal standards as well as health-care accrediting organisations. The skills she acquired were brought to bear in the creation of her workbook, A Door of Hope: Peer Facilitator Training (Helping Women Heal After Sexual Betrayal). Taking a trauma-informed approach, the workbook and training combine the multidimensional partner trauma model and biblically based principles with the highest peer-facilitator training standards. She is currently creating a second workbook for training peer-facilitators of porn/sex addiction groups.

Donna is a certified life and relationship coach, certified pastoral sex addiction specialist (IACSAS/C-SASI), has completed the APSATS training, and has served on the board of IACSAS/C-SASI since 2014.
